Christie Greeley is a native Austinite and has a background in education and social services that has yielded much opportunity to help others grow, learn and heal. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from St. Edward's University in 2000. She then joined Teach for America, an organization that serves under resourced communities, and relocated to North Carolina. Upon her return to Texas in 2002, she worked for the Capitol Area Food Bank and began her graduate studies. In 2006, she received her Masters of Education in Educational Psychology from the University of Texas. Since that time, she has been, and continues to be, a counselor for Austin ISD. Her experience in the counseling field includes individual and group meetings, spans all ages from elementary students to adults, and includes a vast array of life issues. Christie works with clients from a strengths-based, solution-focused technique, helping them to safely explore questions, obstacles and issues that might be hindering their functioning, growth or development.
